The Vision Behind the Studio
Minimal design. Maximum creative freedom.
d14 Studio was created as a refined photography studio rental environment where thoughtful design supports the process of making images. The space was built with the belief that the environment surrounding a shoot influences both the workflow and the final result.
By combining industrial architecture with soft, neutral textures, the studio offers a balanced backdrop that allows photographers and creative teams to focus fully on the work in front of them.
Rather than overwhelming a project with heavy styling, the studio is intentionally minimal and adaptable, allowing each photographer to shape the space around their own creative vision.
Serving the Metro Detroit Creative Community
Located in Madison Heights, Michigan, d14 Studio serves photographers, creative teams, and brands throughout Metro Detroit and Oakland County, including Royal Oak, Ferndale, Birmingham, Troy, and surrounding communities. The studio’s central location makes it easily accessible while offering a quiet, focused environment for creative work.
Whether you're producing content for a brand, building your portfolio, or photographing a client session, the studio provides a refined setting designed to support the creative process.
A Space for Modern Creative Work
Today’s photographers and brands need flexible environments that support everything from personal branding sessions and editorial photography to commercial content production.
d14 Studio was designed with adaptable shooting areas that photograph beautifully while remaining practical for working professionals.
A neutral design palette keeps imagery timeless, while the architectural character of the space adds subtle depth and visual interest — creating an environment where creativity can happen naturally.
Designed for Photographers
d14 Studio was founded by Cindy Campian, an interior creative designer with more than 12 years of experience working within the photography industry.
After years of collaborating with photographers and observing how studio environments influence both workflow and final imagery, the vision became clear: create a space where creatives could walk in, feel inspired, and immediately begin producing thoughtful, elevated work.
Every element of the studio — from textures and tones to layout and lighting flexibility — was intentionally designed to support a smooth production experience while maintaining a calm, visually refined atmosphere.
The result is a studio that feels both intentional and effortless to work in.
