STUDIO POLICIES
To help every guest enjoy a clean, professional, and well-maintained creative space, please review the following studio policies before your session.
These guidelines are designed to protect the studio while ensuring every renter has an exceptional experience.
Before You Arrive
Maximum Occupancy
The studio accommodates a maximum of 12 guests, including photographers, clients, assistants, hair and makeup artists, and all other attendees.
Self Check-In
Self check-in instructions and your unique door access code will be emailed prior to your rental.
Access codes are assigned exclusively to the booking renter and may not be shared or used outside the reserved rental period.
Parking
Please park only in the parking spaces designated for d14 Studio. Parking in neighboring business lots or restricted areas is prohibited.
During Your Rental
Rental Time
Your reservation includes setup, shooting, teardown, and cleanup.
Please arrive and depart within your reserved rental time. Additional rental charges may apply if your session extends beyond your scheduled reservation.
Studio Configuration
d14 Studio has been intentionally designed as a refined editorial production space.
Permanent furniture, décor, lighting fixtures, styled sets, and installations should remain in their designed locations unless prior approval has been granted.
The Open-Concept Studio Floor Plan add-on is available for renters who wish to have the permanent bedscape and architectural chandelier professionally removed before their session.
Studio Lighting
Professional studio lighting equipment is available for use during your rental.
Please return all lighting equipment, modifiers, stands, and accessories to their original locations before departure.
Seamless Paper
Super White seamless paper is preloaded for most sessions.
Black and Thunder Gray may be requested during booking for installation prior to your arrival. Additional seamless paper colors are available in the studio for use during your rental.
Studio Care
Please help us keep the studio looking its best for every guest.
Return furniture and equipment to their original locations.
Dispose of trash in the provided bins.
Wipe down makeup stations and work surfaces if used.
Leave the studio in the same condition in which you found it.
The renter is responsible for any damage, missing items, or cleanup required beyond normal studio use. Additional cleaning, repair, or replacement fees may apply.
Food & Beverages
Food and beverages are welcome.
Beer, wine, and hard seltzers are also permitted for responsible consumption.
Please help protect the studio by avoiding spills or stains on furniture, rugs, bedding, and décor.
Weather & Footwear
To help preserve the studio floors and rugs during rainy, snowy, or slushy weather, outdoor shoes must be removed upon entry.
Guests may bring clean indoor shoes for their session or use the disposable shoe covers provided.
Children & Pets
Children must remain under adult supervision at all times.
Pets are welcome with prior approval and must remain under the control of the renter throughout the session.
The renter is responsible for any additional cleaning or damage resulting from children or pets.
Editorial Boudoir
Editorial-style boudoir photography is welcomed and encouraged.
The studio is intended for refined, artistic portrait work emphasizing thoughtful composition, beautiful light, and timeless imagery.
Explicit nudity, pornographic content, or productions intended primarily for sexually explicit material are not permitted.
Prohibited Activities
The following are not permitted anywhere within the studio or on the property:
Smoking or vaping
Open flames, candles, or incense
Smoke bombs, powders, glitter, or confetti
Body oils or products that may damage studio furnishings
Weapons
Illegal drugs or hazardous materials
Tape, nails, screws, staples, or other materials that damage studio walls or surfaces
Violation of these policies may result in immediate termination of the rental without refund.
Noise
d14 Studio is located within an active industrial building shared by several businesses.
While the studio offers a quiet environment for most productions, occasional sounds from neighboring businesses or building operations may be audible.
Please help us maintain a positive relationship with our neighbors by keeping music and noise at respectful levels.
Security & Privacy
For the safety of guests and protection of studio property, security cameras are in operation throughout the studio, excluding the restroom and designated changing area, as well as outside the building and within the parking area.
By using the studio, you acknowledge that security recording is in use.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
All rental payments and deposits are non-refundable.
Rescheduling requests must be submitted at least 24 hours before your scheduled rental and are subject to studio availability.
Same-day rescheduling is not permitted.
No refunds or credits are provided for unused rental time.
Should d14 Studio need to cancel a reservation, a full refund will be issued.
Liability
Use of the studio and its equipment is entirely at the renter's own risk.
The renter is responsible for the conduct of all guests, clients, assistants, vendors, and crew members attending the session, as well as any damage to the studio or its contents during the rental period.
A full Booking Policies & Terms Agreement, including liability and assumption of risk, must be accepted during the online booking process before a reservation is confirmed.
